It is October!

The weather is getting warmer, days are getting longer, and dresses are becoming shorter. It is the perfect time to soak up the sun while listening to your favourite music.

I have always loved music. However, growing up, I was only ever introduced to mainstream music. The basic garden variety we all hear on the radio.

Then I met my husband. He has opened my ears to such great new sounds.
Thanks to him, my music taste has evolved so much! And thanks to the internet, I can easily find new music to listen to.

During the hard lockdown of 2020, I have discovered amazing music. From the cute French Zaz to smooth Michael Kiwanuka to soulful Lightnin’ Hopkins.

Music has such superpowers. It can remind you of the fun times; it can lift your spirits; it can make you sentimental or even make you cry.
